Gameplay[ | ]

  • The UB-32 rocket pod fires S-5 high explosive rockets, which are very deadly against infantry. The rockets are most effective against ground troops and rarely useful against armored targets due to insufficient penetration and low base damage.
  • They are very inaccurate, but the launcher essentially has no fire cap, allowing the gunner to spam and unload the rockets onto a group of targets.
  • The S-5 rockets, like many other fired explosives in the game, have an arming distance, which is around 12 meters.
  • The rocket artillery Technical comes has a milliradian indicator on the screen for the gunner, which can enable it to act in an indirect fire support role, similar to mortars.
    • Unlike mortars, however, the rocket Technical is mobile and can fire up to 64 rockets at a much higher rate of fire and longer range. As stated, the rockets are very inaccurate but can overwhelm the enemy by the sheer volume of fire.
  • The MEA BRDM-2 Scout Car and MT-LB 6MA retain the turret's gunsight for aiming the rockets. Unlike the rocket Technical, there is no milliradian indicator, but the rockets are easier to aim.
    • The increased turret sensitivity and the presence of a gunsight allow the gunner to easily acquire and engage targets even at a closer range.
    • Instead of 64 rockets, only 32 (1 pod's worth) are carried.
  • The UB-32 Rocket Artillery is available to the Irregular Militia Forces exclusively as deployables.
    • It takes 450 construction points to build and 300 ammunition points to arm.
    • Player must manually reload the rocket pod one by one after firing the salvo, and the whole reloading process takes 1 minute and 15 seconds.
    • The reload process is very long. Conservation of ammunition will prove helpful to last through your ammunition belt instead of burning through it so that you do not have to reload at the wrong time.
    • Beware your surroundings during the reload; leave your emplacement or tell the vehicle driver to reposition if encountering enemies.
  • When firing, the launcher emits a small amount of backblast. The backblast damage dealt by individual rockets is low, but since the launcher can be spammed, the backblast can kill friendlies standing behind the rocket pod. Use and fire it with caution, especially when close to friendlies.
  • Have a Squad Leader present to set attack markers for ranging this rocket artillery.
