"Squad SDK" System Requirements
With lots and lots of content in the Squad SDK already, it is recommended to have at least 16 GB of RAM on your system to work with the Squad SDK. Even with 16 GB of RAM, the lower your specs the slower the SDK will take to load.
If you're interested in contributing to Squad (create models, maps, ...), you can download the Squad SDK for free via the Epic Games-launcher.
For further information on system requirements and how to install the Squad SDK, see the Squad SDK page.
Remarks on Linux and Mac
Linux and Mac operating systems are not supported at the moment. However, the game engine under Squad, the Unreal Engine 4, will aim at supporting Linux and Mac. Hence, it might be possible that these platforms will be supported in the future.
