The QJB95-1 is the upgraded version of the QBB95 automatic rifle. It is a bullpup configured squad automatic weapon - or light machine gun intended to give small infantry units an increased output of firepower. Its intended use is to suppress enemy elements while a maneuver element can close in with and destroy it.

General Information

The QJB95 or Type 95 Squad Machine Gun (Chinese: 95式班用机枪) is the squad automatic weapon variant of the QBZ95. Part of the Type 95 family, The weapon has an added bipod, a longer, heavier barrel, and a 75-round drum magazine to allow sustained fire. However, the standard 30-round box magazine is also compatible. QJB95-1 (Chinese: 95-1式班用机枪) is the improved variant in production since 2010.

Gameplay

  • The QJB95-1 drum magazine holds 75 rounds.
  • Can be fired on automatic or semi-automatic.
  • Every 4th round of the QJB95-1 is a tracer round.
  • The QJB95-1 is fitted with a bipod.
  • The sights for QJB95-1 are the carrying handle iron sights and YMA600 telescopic sight.
    • The carry handle allows the user to zero the rifle for different ranges (from 100m to 300m).
    • The YMA600 allows the user to see enemies from long distances quickly and engage enemies at longer ranges without the need to zero the weapon. It comes with stadiametric rangefinder reticles and is illuminated.
  • Although sharing the same ballistic performance, QJB95-1 has slightly higher damage than QBZ95-1, at 64 damage.
    • This makes it have the same damage number as L85A2, L86A2 LSW, and long-barreled FN Minimi (C9A2 and Militia Minimi) machine gun.
    • The rate of fire at 652 rounds per minute rate is below average for an automatic weapon but makes the gun more controllable in close and medium range.
  • The QJB95-1 is classified in-game as the Automatic Rifle. Typically, Automatic Rifles have handling characteristics similar to Battle Rifles. The QJB95-1 is a hybrid of the Marksman Rifle and Bullpup archetypes. They have identical recoil as regular bullpup rifles but with more sway and slightly lower point fire responsiveness.
    • They output suppression effects akin to Light Machine Guns and are effective at medium to longer ranges.
    • QJB95-1 shares its handling characteristic with L86A2.
  • The QJB95-1 will not hurt hostile armored vehicles, but it can be used effectively against Technicals, Transports, or Logistics Trucks to kill or wound the occupants. It will also destroy Motorcycles.
