Gameplay

  • The QBU88 box magazine holds 10 rounds.
  • Can be fired only on semi-automatic.
  • The QBU88 comes with a bipod.
  • The sights for QBU88 is the YMA88 (6-9×) telescopic sight only.
    • The YMA88 (6-9×) allows the user to see enemies from long distances easily and engage enemies at longer ranges without the need to zero the weapon. The variable zoom function allows for increased versatility in target acquisition across different ranges. You are unable to change the zeroing manually.
    • This is a Bullet Drop Compensation scope designed with pre-determined hold-over marks. The scope is zeroed at 400 meters, meaning the central chevron is accurate for targets 400 meters away.
      • The 100-300 meters marks are located above the center point, which means you need to "aim down" for targets closer than 400 meters.
  • The QBU88 shares its ballistics and damage model with SVD and SVDM.
    • They have one of the longest 2-hit kill distances at 710m due to their high damage output. This is compensated by the small magazine size of 10.
  • QBU88 is classified in-game as the Designated Marksman Rifle. Marksman Rifles have handling characteristics similar to Battle Rifles. Compared to their rifle counterparts, they have more sway, slightly lower point fire responsiveness, and excessive recoil.
    • They output suppression effects akin to Light Machine Guns and are effective at medium to longer ranges.
