Gameplay[]

The MK19 is commonly used to deal with infantry threats and lightly armored vehicles. The large explosion radius and good rate of fire make it ideal for attacking a fortified position. At longer ranges the MK19 can make a rather effective indirect fire weapon although it can be rather difficult to do this accurately due to squad currently not allowing players to range most deployed weapons

  • Minimum arming range for the MK19 Fragmentation is 30 meters.
  • The weapon has a noticeable ballistic drop due to its low muzzle velocity of 230m/s.
  • In wooded areas, the Mk19 can be used as a pseudo-airburst weapon. Shoot the trees and the explosion will reach targets behind cover.
