The KNT-76 semi-automatic sniper system is a rifle adopted by the Turkish Land Forces as a designated marksman rifle intended to engage targets far beyond the normal capabilities of the MPT-76 service rifle. Firing the full sized 7.62x51 NATO cartridge and equipped with a 6x adjustable optic, the shooter can potentially engage targets out to 1000m under the right conditions.
The sights for the KNT-76 include the KESKIN telescopic sight (6-12×) only.
The KESKIN telescopic sight (6-12×) allows the user to see enemies from long distances. The variable zoom function allows for increased versatility in target acquisition across different ranges. The zeroing of the telescopic sight can be adjusted from 100 meters to 800 meters, further enhancing its long-range precision.
KNT-76 largely shares its damage model and ballistic performance with FN FAL and G3SG/1.
It has an identical damage model as G3SG/1, except for a slightly worse MOA at 1.5.
It has an identical ballistic performance as FN FAL, except KNT-76 is limited to semi-automatic fire only.
KNT-76 is classified in-game as the Designated Marksman Rifle. Usually, marksman Rifles have handling characteristics similar to Battle Rifles. Compared to their rifle counterparts, they have more sway, slightly lower point fire responsiveness, and excessive recoil, especially when standing up.
KNT-76 is unique in this case as it shares handling characteristics with its rifle counterpart, PMT-76.
KNT-76 output suppression effects akin to Medium Machine Guns, similar to PMT-76.
