Indirect Fire-shelters are defense deployables which provide cover to your team for indirect fire (mortar, artillery). It can be placed by a squad leader near a FOB. The color of the bunker and the camouflage will be defined by terrain of the map (desert, snow, woodland,..)
Availability[]
The fireshelter is available for following factions:
- US Army
- United States Marine Corps
- Australian Defence Force
- British Army
- Canadian Army
- Middle Eastern Alliance
- People’s Liberation Army
- PLA Navy Marine Corps
- Turkish Land Forces
- Russian Ground Forces
- Russian Airborne Forces
- Irregular Militia
Gameplay[]
- Only crouch (NOT prone) inside the shelter to avoid body parts sticking out.
- If facing a powerful barrage (such as a 155mm strike), make sure to keep shoveling the shelter to replenish its HP. It is possible for occupants to survive a 155mm barrage inside if they keep body parts inside AND keep shoveling.
- Can also be used as a roadblock due to its width and relatively high HP. One player can stay inside to replenish its HP, or to ambush with the help of camo nets.
- Can also be used to create a choke point in a building with a wide entrance (e.g. train stations, hangars). Also prevents enemies from directly shooting or throwing grenades inside.
- As with most deployables, shelters are more useful for defenders on invasion maps where the frontline (ideally) doesn't move.
