The BTR-D APC is an armored personnel carrier featured in Squad, introduced in Version 5.0 for the Russian Airborne Forces (VDV) faction.
General information[]
Based on the BMD-1 chassis, the BTR-D is an airborne-capable, amphibious, armored personnel carrier for the Russian Airborne Forces.

The BTR-D is a tracked amphibious armored personel carrier that offers low mobility, moderate protection, and surprisingly large amounts of firepower for a vehicle of its class. Due to it being rather low to the ground relative to other vehicles and fairly slim it excels at navigating through crowded terrain such as forests, city streets, and large buildings.
The Logistics variant of the BTR-D is possibly one of the worst logistics vehicle in the entire game as of version 8.2 due to a number of factors. Relative to other logistics vehicles the BTR-D is rather slow, is very loud, carries 2000 supplies, and only carries 1 driver and 2 passengers,
