The Armored is a type of Unit. Armored units focus on main battle tanks at the expense of lacking a wider number and variety of supporting vehicles and a long wait for their only helicopter.
Gameplay[]
- The Armored Unit Type focuses on tank combat.
- The defensive setup has no ATGM Emplacement and has high-tier vehicles reduced in number or in a Delayed Timer.
- Combined Arms unit has two tanks available immediately at the beginning of each round.
Unit Setup[]
- 2× Transport Trucks, with one on a Delayed Timer
- 2× Logistics Trucks
- 2× Open-Top Light Vehicles
- 4× Armored Personnel Carrier or Mid-Tier IFVs.
- 2× Main Battle Tank
- No Helicopter (VDV has one on a Delayed Timer)
- 4× Boats if the Map Layers allow
- 1× ATGM emplacement is available on attack
- 1× HAB per FOB
In the conventional faction's Defensive unit, the following changes are made:
- 1 Logistic vehicle is spawned at the forward position and will not respawn if destroyed.
- High-tier Vehicle quantity is reduced, with one or more on a Delayed Timer.
- Main Battle Tank is on a longer Delayed Timer.
- ATGM emplacement is unavailable on defense.
For the unconventional Factions, the following changes are made:
- No substantial difference between offensive and defensive vehicle lineup.
- Defensive setup has access to the same Deployables as the offensive.
