The PAGENAME is an Anti Tank weapon available in Squad. The Konkurs started development in 1962 and was introduced to the Russian Ground Forces a decade later. == General information== It’s one of the most successful anti-tank weapons ever developed by the Soviet Union. Often compared by Western sources to the American BGM-71 TOW or the French MILAN, the 9K113 Konkurs (Russian for “Competition”), designated the "AT-5 Spandrel" by the West, has little in common with its peers. == Statistics == {| class="wikitable mw-collapsible" width="420px" !colspan="2"|Details |- |style=width:15em |Weapon Name |style=width:15em |9M113 Konkurs |- |Weapon Class |Anti-Tank Guided Missile |- |Damage Type |Heavy Anti-Tank |- |Magazine Size |1 |- |Ammo Cost |200 |- !colspan="2"|Damage Model |- |Base Damage |1800 |- |Max. It is available to the Russian Ground Forces, Middle Eastern Alliance, Irregular Militia, and Insurgents as their primary vehicle-mounted anti-tank guided missile. ** BRDM-2 Spandrel: Because of the short delay between shots, you can 'spam' the missiles easily. This makes the BRDM-2 Spandrel an effective armor hunter, comparable to the role fulfilled by the US Army's M-ATV TOW. ** BMP-2: The Konkurs servers also serve as a powerful anti-tank weapon for the BMP-2. It's the counterpart of the TOW in the M2A3. It can also be used against tanks and is very effective against other IFVs in a long-range fight. ==Gameplay== * The 9M113 Konkurs is a wire-guided anti-tank missile. * Minimum arming range for the 9M113 Konkurs is 35 meters. ** If you are too close to your target, the rocket will not detonate or deal any damage. * The vehicle-mounted 9M113 Konkurs variant can fire four missiles before needing to rearm. * The maximum effective range for the 9M113 Konkurs is 1750 meters, slightly longer than other missile emplacements; beyond this range, the missile will stop guidance and drop to the ground. ** When shooting at targets beyond the rocket-engine range, the operator can aim quite a bit above the target so the Kornet will go ballistic after the engine burnout and still hit the target. * Firing multiple missiles in a quick session, making them airborne simultaneously, will cause the previous few missiles to lose track and fly aimlessly. ** This is especially worth bearing in mind when using the BRDM-2 Spandrel, where the player can dumb-fire five missiles in quick succession. * Armour calculation involves many factors that are not limited to simple base damage and penetration. The slope of the armor, its thickness, the angle of hit, all of that matter when the game engine decides if damage has been dealt to the target. Examine the vehicle armor models on Jensen's Range to learn where your shots will do damage. ** Prioritizing areas such as flat armor angles, turret, tracks, engine compartments, ammo racks, and rear areas where you could disable enemy mobility and effectively penetrate through armor and deal damage. * Hitting moving targets such as helicopters is difficult but not impossible. Remember that whilst you can move the reticle very quickly, the missile requires time to "catch-up" with whatever you are aiming at. Many shots at moving vehicles are missed as a result of the operator not accounting for the fact that the missile itself is already out and moving. Make sure to lead your targets. * The 9M113 Konkurs largely shares its damage model and penetration with 9M14 Malyutka, 9M117 Bastion, and 9M119M Refleks. They all have 153 splash damage, and 500 mm penetration. 9M117 Bastion and 9M119M Refleks have higher base damage at 3000, while 9M14 Malyutka and 9M113 Konkurs are at 1800. ** They all have marginal differences in range, muzzle velocity, and missile acceleration speed. 9M14 Malyutka (HJ-73C) has the slowest velocity and acceleration in the class, whereas 9M117 Bastion (APS03) and 9M119M Refleks (APS201) have higher muzzle velocity. ** Compared to deployable anti-tank missiles, such as BGM-71 TOW, 9M133 Kornet, and HJ-8, 9M113 Konkurs shares the 1800 base damage but has weaker penetration and slower velocity. == Media == https://youtu.be/ADxqqWb0reM?t=240 == Gallery == == See also == * Vehicles * BRDM-2 * BMP-2 * 9M117 Bastion * 9M119M Refleks == External links== * 9K113 Konkur on Wikipedia Navbox vehicle armaments
